Kidznotes’ 10th Year Anniversary Celebration!

May 20, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Celebrating 10 years of Collaboration, Inspiration and Change

A Vision for the Future

Support of our generous sponsors is an investment in student success. Kidznotes student musicians not only have a source for learning, self-expression, and joy today, but are developing the grit and resilience to thrive tomorrow. For over 10 years, Kidznotes has been committed to creating space for thoughtful character-building conversations and joyful music experiences for generations to come.

Throughout this unprecedented pandemic year:

  • Kidznotes opted to follow a 100% virtual programming structure for the 2020-21 school year: Kidznotes Online (KOL) nucleos and still retained over half of our enrolled students!
  • Our first student cohort is now graduating from high school and applying to college/auditioning for conservatories nation-wide
  • Classes offered: Instrument Instruction (strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion) Chamber Ensembles (All-Star Quartet; Abreu Quartet; Fab Four Quartet) Large Ensemble (Abreu Orchestra and Band)
  • New! Our K-1 Program is a live streamed general music offering for Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes that takes place during school hours.
  • New! Family Fun Friday is an enrichment virtual event that takes place via Zoom once a month, open invitation for all Kidznotes students, families and community partners to attend.
  • Teaching Artists with Explorer/Beginning/Intermediate level students restructured their schedules to accommodate 10-20 minute 1-on-1 lessons with their students.
  • Preliminary data was reported from our groundbreaking randomized control evaluation with Duke University.
