Kidznotes Girls at International Women’s Day Mar. 7th
Join us for a First Friday documentary screening in celebration of International Women’s Day!
“Girl Rising” will be screened in 12 countries on March 7th and 8th to create awareness of women rights issues. The screenings will take place at 12 different hours making it a Marathon of screenings and discussions. There will be a discussion post screening, which will be live streamed through Google Plus Hangouts, enabling those who aren’t physically there to still be able to engage in the conversations.
The Documentary at HQ Raleigh will start showing at 7:00pm. There will be a reception and meet and greet from 5:30pm to 7:00pm featuring local organizations that are working towards women’s rights.
Don’t miss out on the performance by Kidznotes student orchestra from 5:30-6:00pm. This special performance will feature an all-girls group selected for the occasion.
