BECOME A BOARD MEMBER

The Kidznotes Board of Directors is a great place to share your professional talents, networks, and community passion for advancing the mission of Kidznotes. We officially meet as a board six times per year, and our active committees meet regularly to carry out the priority work that supports Kidznotes. We are a very active board that seeks passionate leaders in the community to join us.

For the July 2023 - June 2024 fiscal year, our board recruiting priorities are focused on identifying professionals in the Triangle area with specific expertise and experience in the fields of:

- Fundraising and Development 
- Special Event Planning & Production
- Legal Expertise
- Program Design and Execution (public after school models)
- Human Resources
- Marketing & Communications

We typically elect board members at the beginning of our fiscal year, which is in July. To be eligible for a board nomination, we require that each nominee contribute to a special project or directly to a committee. This helps to develop a solid working knowledge of Kidznotes and how we support the mission of Kidznotes as a board. It also gives the nominee a chance to experience the impact they can have as a member of this highly professional board organization.
