Sinclair Palmer

Sinclair Palmer is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer from Durham, North Carolina. Sinclair holds a Master of Arts degree in Music and plays electric and upright bass with local bands The Muslims, Violet Bell, Loamlands, and Aquarian Devils. Currently signed to Epitaph Records, they are featured on six studio albums, and in CLTure magazine, INDY Week, Scalawag Magazine, and other publications.
Sinclair began teaching music at age 16 for the Community Music School in Raleigh as a viola and violin instructor, and also taught for several summers at the Lamar Stringfield Music Camp prior to joining the Kidznotes teaching staff. In 2017, Sinclair became director of the Triangle Youth Jazz Lab, a big-band-style ensemble for beginners, and started The Sinclair Palmer Music Studio, which continues to foster a musical space for bass, violin, and viola students today.
