Stephanie Sosa is an educator and multidisciplinary designer with a love for working with kids. With over 15 years of experience playing piano and 5 years of experience with mallet percussion instruments, she is excited to support Kidznotes as a program assistant. She previously volunteered as a piano teacher with Musical Empowerment for three years and taught private piano lessons at Guitar Center for a year before realizing her passion for education. During the 2023-2024 school year, she pursued a Fulbright grant as an English Teaching Assistant, leading supplemental English classes for middle schoolers in Chiayi, Taiwan. She is excited to continue working with kids back in North Carolina in arts education.

Additionally, she graduated from NC State with a degree in graphic design, and continues to use illustration, graphic design, and animation to explore how cultural identity shapes our lived realities. She is a published illustrator with Row House Publishing and layout designer with Sine Theta Magazine, and is excited to continue exploring the overlap between design and arts education.
